The Icelandic Horse

Iceland is known for its ponnies, that preferably is said, the iceladic horse, as though it is small there are no problem for a grown up to ride it. The horse culture in Iceland is great and more than 60% of its population is in one or an other way connected to this culture.

A speciality for Iceland is long rides and hiking with the horse and if you would like a taste of this side of Iceland we recommend a trip to Laxnes Horse farm were you can joy a nice horsebackriding in the beautiful Mosfells valley.
